“Sweet Talking Sugar” MV continues impressive performance on MYX charts
Sustaining the hype, the music video of MNL48’s sub-unit Baby Blue’s debut single “Sweet Talking Sugar” has continued to occupy top positions in various charts of local music channel MYX this week.
“Sweet Talking Sugar” has retained the 2nd spot in the MYX Daily Top 10 and MYX Hit Chart while continuing to top the Pinoy MYX Countdown, as of today.
In a statement released last October 7 (Wednesday) through their official website and Fanclub App, the idol group’s management and the members of the sub-unit acknowledged the music video’s chart performance and thanked the fans for the continuous efforts in voting.
“We saw the eagerness of the fans to make us No. 1 on MYX Countdown and it’s very overwhelming for us because they are always by our side while we continue to pursue a higher goal. We would like to give our gratitude to all of our supporters. We love you all, and thank you very much,” Baby Blue unit leader Jan Elaurza said.
The challenge of keeping the “Sweet Talking Sugar” music video on the top spots in the MYX charts will be a daunting task as other popular music videos are set to premiere in the coming days but based on the current outlook, the determined fanbase will look forward to sustain the effort to keep it on top.
TVDG launches “Game Nights” Kumu series
A new digital content series will be launched by ABS-CBN’s TV Digital Group (TVDG) for MNL48 as “Game Nights” will start tomorrow on the digital streaming app Kumu.
Getting inspiration from hit Japanese and Korean variety shows, “Game Nights” will feature the members participating in various parlor games. The first batch of members who will participate in this week will be: Ice Bozon, Princess Briquillo, Grace Buenaventura, Karla dela Paz and Thea Itona. Fan participation in the shows will yet to be determined.
“Game Nights” will be aired every Monday at 6 PM and can be watched through the idol group’s official Kumu account.
Andi makes Instagram comeback
After several months of absence, Team MII member Andi Garcia is back on Instagram as her new account has been launched last Friday.
Garcia has announced the development in her Facebook page, which was greeted with glee by her fans.
Garcia’s original Instagram account was hacked by an unknown individual last June which deprived her of presence in the popular social media platform. She will now look to re-upload some content from her old account into the new one.
