The well-known MNL48 Reporting Squad (RSQ) officially signed off from the MNLoves community after two years of service for the MNL48 fandom.
In their post from May 7, they thanked the fans for their continuous support for the fan club, and have been happy to serve the community for two years before officially hanging the gloves.
Twitter user @beautificate, the former admin of RSQ, told PAKSA MNL in an exclusive interview that the FC’s active members are slowly moving on to their personal endeavors.
“Busy na kasi halos lahat ng main admins. Most of us, yung fans pa from “Showtime Era”, so hinay hinay na ding umaalis. And siguro to giveway na din sa bagong MNLoves. I admit, di ko na din kilala masyado yung mga bago. So mahihirapan kami na mag set ng authority.
(“The main admins are busy almost. Most of the fans, which have been continuously supporting since the “Showtime Era” are also slowly leaving the FC. And perhaps to give way to new MNLoves. I admit that don’t know anyone from the new fans, so we might have difficulty in setting authority”)
The FC, which was established in the midst of the “Showtime Era” was aimed at reporting troll accounts aimed at bashing MNL48, but then also diversified to reporting toxic fan accounts. Furthermore, RSQ aimed at also raising awareness of the 48G system to the local audience.
In retrospect, RSQ is composed of three (3 teams), two of which are shuffled previously due to the rising number of inactive members. According to the admin, each team has 35-40 members that handle reports submitted by the MNLoves community.
When asked about some parting words to the MNLoves community, the admin expressed gratitude to the fans that have been on their side ever since.
“Para sa mga MNLoves na naniwala sa RSQ. Thank you, thank you very much. RSQ won’t be there kung hindi kayo sumuporta. And for the new MNLoves planning to make a new reporting squad. I wish you all the best. Always remember our #NeverEngage.
(“To those in the MNLoves community that believed in RSQ: thank you, thank you very much. RSQ won’t be here if you never supported it. And for the new MNLoves planning to make a new reporting squad. I wish you all the best. Always remember our #NeverEngage.)
